Self Contained Acts
These acts can be a great way to take
control of your event. Once you have assigned them a
location, a self contained act becomes a major
entertainment asset. Examples: the pig races can draw
larger crowds to the livestock area than ever before - the
puppet theater can become the centerpiece of a children's
area - the "wheel of death" can add spice to your nighttime
midway - the flea circus could be just the draw for the
commercial building - the sky is the limit! Self contained
acts require only a moderate amount of staff involvement, a
location that suits the show's needs, adequate electrical
power, and an audience that knows the act is there. Self
contained acts could be thought of as building blocks, like
food booths and commercial displays, used to construct the
overall shape of your event. We would be glad to help.
